ALICE BRADLEY

Alice Bradley was born in Shrewsbury in 1999.  She studied Fine Art and sculpture at Manchester school of Art, specialising in slab built ceramics.  

Alice’s work largely consists of slab-built vessels, taking form as what she calls ‘Relics’ commemorating events and experiences from everyday life.  Alice takes a playful approach to form and glaze and is fascinated with the versatility of clay and its constant ancient relationship with humankind. 

Now living and working in Penzance as a studio potter, Alice continues to navigate her sculptural practice with clay.  

Her work has progressed into throwing white stoneware on a kick wheel at her studio in the Joel Gallery.
